Communication Is One of the Most Important Coaching Skills

You can have tremendous knowledge of padel, but if your student cannot understand your message, that knowledge has very little value.
One of the most common mistakes I see coaches make is talking too much.
They give the student four or five corrections at once.
Now the player is thinking about their feet, racket preparation, grip, contact point, follow-through, positioning, and where to hit the ball—all at the same time.
The result?
Confusion.
Good coaching requires prioritization.
Identify the most important correction.
Fix that first.
Then move to the next.
Communication means finding:
The right words
The right tone
The right timing
The right amount of information
A coach's objective is not to demonstrate how much they know.
The objective is for the student to understand.
